2023 Environment Day Volunteering

On April 30 and June 8, Andy, Sophie, and Alex volunteered for the Environment Day event hosted by Jaye Robinson at York Mills CI and Leaside Memorial Gardens. Jaye Robinson is the City Councillor for Ward 15—Don Valley West. She serves as Vice-Chair of the Economic and Community Development Committee and on the Board of Directors for the Art Gallery of Ontario, Leaside Memorial Gardens Arena, and Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Jaye Robinson’s Community Environment Day allows community members to drop items off for reuse and recycling and safely dispose of household hazardous waste. These include electronic waste, paint solvents and glue, fluorescent bulbs, pesticides and fertilizers, batteries, propane tanks, unused medication, used cooking oil, and e-cigarettes.
